Panels: Games of Thrones, Influensers

and Women leaders in creative industry!

Play Media Day 03 presents three panel discussions that will attract the attention of the visitors at the regional communication event, which will be held on June 08 in Banja Luka!

The “Game of Thrones – media phenomenon” will present to the audience what makes this series so attractive. Though “Game of Thrones” is in fact a good part of its reflection, the charm of this series lies somewhere else. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn all about the phenomenon of ” Game of Thrones “, the reason why the author of the book Džordž R.R. Martin decided on the interpretation of the Middle Ages in his capital work, about metaphors and ideas that, through a series of popular culture domains, are sold to the public, about the relationship of participants to the screenplay and adaptation of screenplay for television and many other interesting things. Panel members: Monika Ponjavić, film and TV critic, Branislav Predojević, journalist, Dejan Matijević, psychologist, and Đorđe Mandrapa, architect and expert for historical reconstruction.

This year’s event will also feature two more attractive panels. One of them hosts successful influencers of the region, while other will present successful women in leading positions in the field of creative industry!

In the era of digital media and social networks, it is believed that the audience is more trusted by the content that the influencers submit than the traditional advertisers. The phenomenon of this form of promotion and marketing, undermines all the traditional rules of communication and the role of the influencers becomes more and more relevant.

A well-known blogger and journalist from Belgrade Branislava Antović will moderate the panel “The Power of Like” which will include Erna Saljević, in online world known as Diva is Back from Sarajevo, Milan Vučićević, who has been present on social networks for many years now under the pseudonym “Nichim Izazvan” from Belgrade, Nataša Gardašević, who has in a short time built her brand “Njezvanova” from Podgorica, and also Petra Mamić, the popular “Skitnica” from Bjelovar. Influencers will be able to figure out how much their popularity and earnings have benefited, as well as how difficult it was to build their own brand, and to offer quality co-operation with potential customers.

The attendees will find out whether known influencers can only live from this business or that such a way of communication serves as an additional source of income. There will also be discussion about the need for brands to engage influencers, current trends, but also the future of such promotion, and whether the influencer is a new occupation.

The third, but no less important panel will be about some of the most influential women on the leading positions in creative industry of the region.

Creative Director of the Play Team Agency and Program Director of Play Media Day, Dijana Tepšić will moderate the panel “Women leaders in the Creative Industry”, which will put together five successful women who had a vision and achieved great success in leading agencies.

Sara Mekinc – Pristop, Ljubljana, Jana Savić Rastovac – McCann, Belgrade, Sanja Đekić – Mediacom CE, Zagreb, Anita Todorović – All communication, Belgrade, together with Diana Tepšić will discuss the challenges these successful women had on the journey to their personal and professional success. Find out how challenging it is to be a woman at the leading position.

In addition to the IT industry, the creative industry is the fastest growing industry in the world. Panelists will discuss and what kind of impact women have on the creative industry’s development.
