Ekrem Dupanovic (69) is the publisher and editor-in-chief of Media Marketing, Art & Business and Woman.Comm.
He started working in the advertising industry 49 years ago. He spent the first 15 years in the economic-propaganda program of Radio Sarajevo (1970-1985), and then transferred to the marketing agency OSSA in which he led a sports marketing team for five years. In 1990, he became a director of the Yugoslav-Swiss Marketing Agency IMS / STUDIO 6 Yugoslavia jointly funded by OSSA and IMS / Studio 6 Lausanne.
He worked on projects of major international events, such as the Winter Olympic Games Sarajevo 1984, the World Cup final in the Alpine Skiing Sarajevo 1987, the European Championship in Athletics Split 1990, where he was the marketing director for two years, the World Championship in skiing fligts Planica 1994 and others.
In 1990, he launched the Business Magazine, the main medium of the business community of Yugoslavia, and organized the first election for the Manager of the Year of Yugoslavia.
After the outbreak of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he founded the Futura Media agency based in Sarajevo. In 2003, he started editing and publishing the Media Marketing Magazine, and in 2011 the Media Marketing online platform, which is today the most important medium of the communications industry of the Adriatic region. In the same year 2003, the No Limit Sarajevo Advertising Festival was launched, the national festival of the advertising industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2016, he started the Art & Business portal which is dedicated to sponsorship in culture and art, and in 2017 – the Women.Comm portal dedicated to women in the communications industry.
Since 2018, together with his daughter Asja, he published the book The Best of Adriatic Advertising, which presented all the campaigns that won awards at national and regional festivals in the Adriatic region. He published his second book in March 2019 which represents 146 campaigns on 420 pages. The book is available in Bosnian and English and presents a testimony of regional creativity in one year.
He is very committed to young people and to providing them with support in the realization of a successful careers. Primarily because of them, the book “Hotel Jugoslavija” was published in early 2018. One of the most important projects of Media Marketing is Young Leaders of Tomorrow, and of Art & Business Portal – Friends of Young Artists.

Trends in the agency and business world
The world trends are late in this region at an average of two years. This is not bad, if we know that a good deal of trends does not last that amount of time. In the panel discussion, we will try to answer several questions. How much do we contribute to the creation of new trends in the Adriatic region, and how much do we rely on the trends that come from the world? Is everything that is hit in the world applicable for our market? What are the three trends that are current in our country? How much knowledge that we have is enough to engage in the conquest of world trends?
